For under $500 you are looking at 1950s projectors.
The workhorse of stereo projectors is the TDC.  There
must be a reason that most stereo clubs use this
projector in their meetings and for their slide
competitions.  Note that the 116 model has a carrier
that will show up to full frame slides while the 716
model (or "deluxe" and more expensive) will only handle
5p slides (but can be modified for 7p).

For contemporary projectors you are looking at a 
Brackett Fader (over $1000) or an RBT (over $3000).
