Some of you might want to send a personal greeting to John Baird while he
is in Truman Medical Center, so I got the fax number in his section, as
well as the voice number.  His nurse says that faxes will get to John if
his name is on it.  I'm sure a personal greeting would cheer him up.

When I talked to John today, he sounded strong and in good spirits.  They
took out a big section of intestines he wasn't using, and he's resting from
that. He says he's about to take the big step up from broth to Jell-o,
which sounds like a sure sign of improvement.
