Hi Howard,

You don't need permission from me. =) Pat Brady is a good one to ask,
and he can tell you if he thinks anyone else needs to be asked. (His
e-mail was on the strips every day...) 

For what it's worth, I have a friend here in town who is an
internationally recognized tattoo artist, and he said that people get
every kind of cartoon character done, and there is no formal permission
process that he is aware of.

by our own Mike Williams. They are VERY good IMHO...
