P3D random thoughts

Two topics have come up recently that I've been wondering about.  

8p Nimslos.  I find this intriguing.  Are these readily available, and if so, 
where do I find details?


7p Realists.  I seem to recall seeing somewhere (and recently, too) a 
reference to Realist mods.  One involved replacing the original lenses with 
lenses from a modern Point & Shoot (same 35mm focal length).  This got me 
wondering about a combination deal as lenses from a modern P&S would easily 
cover 7p.

A variation: has anybody swapped the lenses for other focal lengths?  This 
would involve either scrapping the rangefinder completely or replacing the RF 
cam.

Any ideas?
