Be prepared for a lot of masking and cropping. I have replaced the
standard focussing screen in my Nikon FM2 with a grid screen. Which
makes alignment of horizons, edges of buildings etc. easier. This is a
good idea for cameras which allow interchangeable screens. Which makes
me wonder if there are any pro cameras (2d) with bubble levels. Level
pictures are important even with 2d.

Regarding lasers I just saw in an ad for a pen size laser which projects
a line instead of a dot and they claim it can be used to level walls
etc. during construction. I beleive it was 49.95 from "The Edge"
company.
