P3D Upside Down Canon Rebels

Steve Berezin discusses twinning Canon Rebels and says "Both cameras would
face the same direction but one would be upside down. Is there something I
may be missing?"

Wouldn't the shutter curtains would be moving in opposite directions? If
you're shooting  really fast shutter speeds, I guess you could get some
retinal rivalry, but this is just a guess.  Does this sound right?
