P3D stereo soccer

I think this got lost when the list was down. My apology
if you get it twice.

It seems promising that we may have stereo pictures again
in our St. Matthew yearbook this year.

Soccer season is the first big chance to shoot. I've used
an 85-150mm zoom before for flat shots.

I haven't had time to install the front-surface mirrors in
my Franka splitter, with its 110mm stereobase, better for
telephoto. So I'm going to go with the Stitz and the 85mm
lens. It's not such a strong telephoto that a wider stereobase
is strictly required. Besides, black and white pairs in a
school yearbook are not so critical as some other venues.  :-)
Also, the 85mm will allow me to follow the action more easily,
even if the images of the players aren't as large. While it
may seem tame, 85mm in a half-frame format such as the
the beamsplitter is equivalent to 135mm or better for full frame.

I'll let you know how it goes.
