P3D Anaglyph slide show low light problem

I currently have some anaglyph slides showing in a movie theater. The
slides are projected using a Ektagraghic III machine that belongs to the
theater. They are on the movie screen between movies when the house lights
are up part way as people enter the theater.
My problem is that with this ambient light the images are too dim to
satisfy me. When the lights are off they look good. I'm thinking of buying
a Kodak Extra Bright Lamp Module to pop in their projector in hopes that
this will make the images look better. I am aware that there is another
module made by Navitar that promises "about 50%" increase in illumination.
I'm not willing to shell out $340 for this device, but I am willing to go
for the $95 Kodak module that claims "an average of 30%" increase.
Can anyone advise me?
FYI; The slide show is in conjunction with a showing of that unwatchably
faded anaglyph print of that '70s porno movie "Disco Dolls" The film has
been packing the suckers in and I thought it would be nice if they got to
see at least SOME half decent 3D since they have the glasses and all.
The slide show also plays throughout the day between showings of other
movies. The slide show does not involve pornographic images. This is at The
Screening Room in NYC.
