P3D TDC Stereo Vivid Camera

Oliver (and list),

Thanks for the info on the TDC Stereo Vivid- I appreciate it. The
service manual I have covers the TDC Colorist I, Colorist II, and the
Stereo Vivid. I think I will indeed order the user manual form Reel 3D.

Hmmmm, I wonder if anyone out there knows where I might find the flash
adapter for the Stereo Vivid. If it's X sync, I'll bet that I can
connect wires from the body and flash pin to the two connections on a pc
cord and run that to my strobe, then mount the whole thing on a
Stroboframe somehow. That'll take some thought.

We have a local camera repair shop here in Columbus, Ohio that I use for
my mono bodies, and they're very good, but the tech says he won't touch
anything stereo. He says "... two shutters, two apertures, double the
trouble." I don't much care for that attitude, and I haven't found
anyone to service my stereo cameras. I have a TDC Colorist II that I
took apart to fix the film advance (to to try to), and can figure out
how it goes back together, even with the shop manual! So, it sits in
the corner of my workshop and probably will until I give it another try.

Thanks again for the advice.
