P3D Re: TDC Vivid Light Leak

No light leak but, as Paul T reported, internal reflection - though I
haven't absolutely proven it yet.
Last time I raised the question, Mike Canter expressed an interest and I
sent him some photos of the inside of the camera under certain lighting
conditions with the shutter open, and the feature I suspect of causing the
reflection was clearly glowing. I also sent samples of slides showing
the resulting on-film anomaly, always in the same spot and general shape,
but varying in intensity. (I even put overlays on the pictures showing
the exact parts to look at! What overkill, eh?) Mike agreed that my
evidence was strong for my conclusion, and suggested some dulling paints
that might help - I am ashamed to say I haven't tried it yet.
But I have now seen exactly the same image flaw in a shot from another TDC
user (who shall remain anonymous) and I take this as confirmation of a TDC
"feature". I'm not sure if the "leak" George is seeing is the same
phenomenon - is it milky white, shaped like a comet in the bottom center
of the left image with its "tail" sweeping up and to the left?
That's all I know so far!
Bruce
