P3D Re Knocked Off the Ladder Again

I have also had a transparency film developed as a negative and I had
been told on a couple of colour photography courses that it is possible to
do this and that there was once a film that you could choose what you
wanted when you took it in for proccessing. The main problem I think is
that transparencies lack the built in orange filter of negatives which is
meant to compensate for discrepancies in the print as well. Extra filters
in the printing filter pack wouild seem to be able to compensate for this,
perhaps a piece of unexposed colour film.

I had them try to produce a set of prints from it as they were half frames
from a Nimslo so not to difficult to do but I doubt they took much trouble
with the filtration. The colours were a bit out, for instance a close up of
a purple crocus seemed about right but the spring grass surrounding it was
still dead and brown but came out grey in the print. Other shots were
rather blue although they were taken in the alps so UV haze may have had
something to do with.
