Yep. I haven't yet found the time to do any in 3D yet, but
I have shot some nice slides of micromounts with a 28mm lens mounted
backwards with a reversing ring.

I've also shot a few slides of my fluorescent minerals. Kodak has
published a piece in one of their 1960-70s "How-To" books. I
used my camera's interal meter, metered w/aperature wide-open, with
camera set to some really high film speed, like ASA 1000, to get a reading,
then re-figured everything down to 64 ASA, and a smaller aperature, tossing
in some educated guesses for reciprocity failure. I had something approaching
2 minute exposures for some of my brighter fluorescing minerals, and they came
out quite nice. I shot the minerals on black velvet.
