You could lay an RBT slide on the card holder which measures
5 1/8" wide X 2 3/8" deep, (mine came with small aerial
views and vision test) and view the slide.

You could even view Sputnik slides.  The slots on the card
holder are almost the same size as the medium format stereo
slide mounts that Rocky Mountain Memories sells.  The slot
(open at the top) is just a smidge under 1/4".
