I have just received my lenticular photos from 3D Imaging Systems in
Monrovia, CA.
They don't look very good at all. I waited 5 months for these because I had
mailed out the disposable camera a couple of days before the announcement
about the processing being moved to California.
The problem with the pictures is the color. Every picture has a blue
overcast. If it was any worse, one would think they were B/W images toned
blue. Virtually no red in any image. Last year I had shot some 3D photos of
my sisters wedding with the same type of camera and the same lighting
conditions. They turned out reasonably well.
Maybe my photos were at the end of the chemical's lifespan. I'm thinking
about having a flat print made from one of the negatives in order to find out
if the problem was in the 3D printing. Hopefully I still have good negatives.
