P3D Re: PHOTO-3D

Had a talk with the "new" chairman last week about making our 
upper-level biology lab a "show place" of the department.  I told him 
we needed new microscopes and to get rid of the junk that had 
accumulated there.

SO today,  I thought I would at least look at the junk.  What did I 
find???  I found five sets of "A Stereoscopic Atlas of the Chicken" 
by J.A. Long and Paul Burlingame of Univ California, Berkeley.  The 
set was copyright in 1937 and has 113 plates of chick development.  
It was published by the California Laboratory Supply Company in 
Berkeley.  We have four sets of the third printing, 1947, and one set 
of the fourth printing, 1948.  Am I going to have fun tonight 
learning chick embryology!!
