P3D adjusting lenses on a Realist

I have an Ilex Realist that takes beautiful sharp images, but one of
the lenses is a little higher than the other.  When I mount the chips,
I have to adjust by about 1mm.  Is it possible to move one lense so it
sits a little lower?  What are the details involved?
