P3D Stereo window in VM format

A note to Eddie Bowers: Welcome to the photo-3d list!!! (I know
Eddie from his postings in the View-Master list).

In practical terms the stereo is set by cropping (in prints usually)
or masking the image. So shifting the film chips under a fix mask
will change the stereo window. To do that with the View Master you
must be able to shift the chips horizontally. From what I understand
this is not easy or possible with View Master reels.

The View-Master Stereomatic projector has another "convenient" feature
that makes control of the stereo window in projection nearly
impossible: The focus and convergence are linked so when you focus
the right and left images slide w/respect to each other. This is very
annoying! If you have an image with too wide separation that causes
eyestrain, you cannot bring the two images closer together because
they will then be out of focus!

Many I recommend that you try Realist-format or 2x2 stereo slides?
