Thanks for the interesting report Steve! ..And I had
just canceled my order of "The Bubble" on DVD,
due to a number of delays regarding it's release. I
should be getting the DVD of "Comin At Ya" soon,
I think it's on back order. ..If your interested in
seeing "The Bubble" in all of it's SpaceVision 3-D
glory, check out 3DTV Corp's field-sequential
3-D tape library, where it is listed under "The Zoo".
I haven't seen the entire movie in field-sequential,
only the famous floating beer tray sequence on
an old 3DTV clip reel. Did this scene look any
good on the anaglyph DVD?
If Universal ever does a "Creature From the Black
Lagoon" DVD in anaglyph 3-D, at least that would
be in black and white. Of course, we all know
Universal should make a duel layer disc, with an
anaglyph version on one layer with a cheap pair of
glasses, and a field-sequential version on the other
for a superior 3-D presentation for those who have
LCS glasses. But nahhh.. that sounds too good! :)
