P3D House of Wax

Vincent Price's daughter, Victoria, was interviewed yesterday on NPR's
"Fresh Air." She talked about his role in "House of Wax," how it
plummeted him into major stardom as a 'horror' actor. She credited it to
the use of 3D as a gimmick to get audiences into the theaters in the
1950s. But she mentioned that Price thought the use of 3D in that film
was 'restrained'. (I suspect her book, "Vincent Price: A Daughter's
Biography" has more detailed references to the film and 3D.)
