Does it matter? Here is what I would do. Get a ruler and push
it up against the front of the camera or other place that is
easy to measure from, not some hypothetical film plane or lens
center. Take a shot of the ruler in that position and see
what distance is in the sharpest focus. You will also see the
depth of field for those conditions. Always use that measurement
in the future.
