Actually the Fed seems like the perfect stereo print camera, IF
processing is easilly obtained. I know my Fed is inconsitant with
exposures (about 1/2 stop under with cloudy skies), and print film is
more forgiving.
Next time I haul out my Fed I plan on putting some print film in it and
find out who is willing to process it.
However wouldn't it be just as easy for any processor to print 5p as it
would 7p? Wouldn't the operator have to align each image anyway? Or do
they align the first few then, set it on automatic.
When making cards, I have them printed as 3.5x5, then crop down to 3x3
or 3.25x3.25. So anything closer to square makes sense to me.
Grand Photo is charging $1.10 per pair which includes developing. They
have always come back sharp and easy to mount.
