I saw that someone where I work bought a nice computer projector -
and it was only $6,000.  Looks really nice and bright on the
parabollic silver screen they also bought.

It is a shame they can only think about projecting PowerPoint
presentations with it...

So, if you scan your slides and convert them to field-sequential
format, get synching hardware, LCD glasses, a computer, a video
projector and a parabollic screen you will be able to project your
stereo holiday snaps at greatly reduced resolution for only about
$10,000 - $12,000 instead of that 1950s vintage $350 equipment.
