I add:

I suppose I should have said sensual instead of sensuous, however both
pertain to pleasure of the senses.
Looking at a fine slide does pleasure my senses. And the resolution is
only one part of it. It's the whole experience of sitting in a
comfortable chair, 00looking into a slide and imagining what is going
on, while my honey rattles around the kitchen.
