Actually, for a once in a lifetime shoot, I would take a twin rig (assuming 
that doesn't violate the "one camera" condition).  That way, I'm almost 
guaranteed to get at least mono shots, if not stereo.  Also, I can get a 
highly automated twin rig, so I don't miss shots due to winding, focusing, 
setting exposure, etc.
