Any silver based black and white film can be reverse processed to produce
transparencies.  You first develop the negative image,  bleach this away,
the remaining silver that was not developed into the negative image is then
re-exposed and developed and produces a positive image.  It works better on
some films than others because of the characteristics of the film emulsion
and the base,  but the results can be stunning.
