I am familiar with the first patent, and their process uses polarized inks. This
means Vectograph film is not required. The benefits are that 3D images could, in
theory be printed on any surface. The HUGE Drawback is cost, consistency and
materials. This process would be far more costly than Stereojet is.

Stereojet uses different types of inks which are more readily available than
Polarized Inks are. At least half a dozen manufacturers make Dichroic Inks.
