P3D "Tomorrow" (Dont recall the original Title)

George Themelis wrote that if you want to do something, do it now because
"Tomorrow" you won't have any interest in doing it (or words to that
effect.)
I think that George should speak for himself instead of making a general
statement like that. I am at what is probably "Tomorrow" for George as I
will be 69 in Feb. I have not detected any lack of interest so far in
any of my activities. I just bought a new Mustang and am in the process
of "tweaking it a bit" Changing to a somewhat less discrete
exhaust system, changing to a somewhat stiffer suspension system and
lowering the car. My stereo interests also seem unabated. With the help
of Dan Shelley I just completed my first 3D-CD. I have assisted in
establishing the SSA Stereo Card Exhibition and the ISU Stereo Card
Exhibition. Started, not to long ago, with the assistance of Klaus
Kemper, the North America-Germany Stereo Card Circuit that is doing very
well and am the Secretary of four stereo card folios in the SSA., and
the Director of the PSA Stereo Card Circuit. Not to mention the
Personalities and Places project that I am doing in connection with
Columbus State University., which will continue as long as I want to do
it.
No I haven't bought a Raum Bild Technic camera yet and probably won't,
but I have hundreds of stereo negatives to print and am making more all
the time.
Paul Wing , at age 83, is at what will be my "Tomorrow" He certainly has
not slacked off in his activities. Of course due to health problems his
stereo "range" is somewhat smaller than previously, but he is not
suffering from lack of activities. He has rediscovered his :"roots" and
has joined one of the SSA card folios which come under my jurisdiction.
He is also entering the International stereo card exhibitions, for the
first time in many years. He recently had his LEEP camera repaired in
England and is now engaged in making "windowless " stereo slides with
that instrument.
Perhaps the best example of "Tomorrow" is my 92 year old golfing buddy Al
James. He plays golf four or five days a week and is still very
competitive. His drives are not all that long, but he doesn't make any
bad shots and when he gets on the green, he is deadly accurate. In
addition, he is an active artist and sells several of his paintings a
month.
He also teaches oil painting at the local senior center. He recently
remarried, for the 3rd time. and his new wife is a young 65. I was
joking with him and said" Al, these May -December marriages can be hard
on a person's health". He replied "If she dies, she dies"
So to sum it up "Tomorrow is an attitude" and I wish everyone on P3D a
great " Tomorrow"
