Hi,

let me intruduce myself to the list.

I am 33 years old system consultant/developer from germany.
My first contact with stereoscopy was the view-master when
I was a child - without really understanding that this was 
3-D/stereoscopic.

Later followed some kind of experimental phase with 3-D
anaglyph paintings and my first tries with the camera 
shifting method but without good results. I knew that
there where special 3-D cameras in the market but
it didn't came to my mind to buy one...

And now I bought my first 3-D camera on ebay, a FED
stereo M for 250 DeutschMarks and the Etude Projector
for 300 DeutschMarks.

While the projector is OK for the price (a little dark picture
I guess because of the 220V lamps) I have some problems
with the camera, but which FED owner has a perfect
working camera  ? :-)

So the problem of underexposure can I handle by adjusting
the film ASA knop one full step down (from 200 to 100).
The transport mechanism is able only to proceed until
pair no. 18 or so.
And last but not least, the aperture sometimes doesn't
open full when I take a shot.

I am still testing which film is best suitable for stereo,
I tried the kodak elite 200 and fuji sensia 200 for now.
As for colors, I like the kodak much more, and for
sharpness the next time I take a 100 ASA film.
