I went through a Polaroid phase about 10 years ago a still have a roll
of PolaPan and a roll of PolaBlue which have 1989 expiration dates in
my icebox to prove it. I had picked up a manual processor fairly cheap
and gave all the films a try, including the PolaChrome. It's a great
concept if you need instant slides but the quality wasn't real great.
One important consideration if you plan to use these films is that the
film base depolarizes light. So they work fine in a viewer, BUT you will
need polarizers after the film in projection.
I'm a little surprised that they still sell the film... with digital
cameras and all?
