RE: Tower brand name. In the '50-60s Sears Roebuck had a very 
fine camera catalog and sold cameras with the
 Tower name (for their Chicago building?). As noted the Tower 
Stereo was a relabelled Illoca. The sold as  TOWER 35, a fine 
Leica copy that was a Nicca with a Nikkor f/1.5. More valuable than 
some Leicas now as a copy. One of the best copies from Japan. 
The Canons RF were Leica style but not pure copy.. BobH
