About $30 give or take a few bucks. Of course sometimes they
can be found much cheaper if your lucky.

That happened to be my first VM projector as a kid but
regretfully it got misplaced while I was growing up. I had a
hard time tracking down another one till (at almost the last
table) I found a brand new one at the Rochester NSA convention!
Of course with the wonders of the internet, I was able to pick
up a few more. :-)

Pretty good projector but I was able to get as much brightness
and sharpness by using a 50W dichromic light bulb (very 
efficient) and a 50mm lens from an SLR camera (not normally a
good idea but I don't care)! No fan was required and looked
very promising, but like many of my projects it hasn't been
completed yet. I was thinking of making a 3-D version of it.
