P3D Film scratches (HELP!)

I have a little problem.
When mounting some of my View-Master pictures in some old (50's vintage)
Personal Reel mounts, a couple of them had bur or something in the pocket
and scratched my pictures. Is there anything I can do to at least reduce the
appearance of the scratch when viewed?
It's not deep at all, but it's across part of the picture that is just blue
sky so it really shows up.
Is there anything that I can rub into the scratch or something?
These are pictures from my recent trip to Europe, so it's not easy to retake
the shot :)
Any help would greatly be appreciated.
-Eddie
PS. I have never had this kind of problems with the new mounts. So much for
the old ones being superior.
