The C3D Network has "gone digital". This of course does not
mean they have digital (DVD) quality, only that it is now sent in
a digital form, which in this case requires a special $295 IRD
(Integrated Receiver/Decoder) box.

They are supposedly up on GE-3 Ku8 using the CTI Spectrum
Scan IRD. This is an older IRD format that isn't used as much
anymore. Some C-band owners on the net are a bit unhappy after
shelling out $250 to $350 for the C3D converter box, getting little
"true-3D" programming for their money, and then being told they
need to spend another $300 for this certain IRD unit.

If anyone from C3D has any clarifications or corrections regarding
the above statements, please feel free to chime in.
