I was hoping that this was just another one of those rumors, but I just
called Grand Photo, and although I was not able to speak to Janet to
confirm this (they say she will be in Monday at 3pm) or that the change
is permanent, the people working there did said that they no longer
offer this service.  

Although I generally use not Realist but Nimslo for stereo prints, this
is certainly bad news for those that do. Wasn't there someone out there
on the list who works in a photo lab and was talking about offering
Realist print service? Or anyone who uses a local lab that does Realist
prints for them and might be interested in some mail order business for
a "niche" market? How hard is it to make a 5p mask or are they available
somewhere? I know nothing about the equipment involved or whether it is
similar between processors. 

The lab I am using now (MN Photo in Maplewood MN) has been very good
with my requests such as making Nimslo prints full frame about 3x5 on
4x6 paper, and I was eventually going to ask them if they would be able
to do some Realist prints, but I wanted to break them in easy. I plan to
take in some old Realist negs on one of their slow days and see if they
can try some reprints for me. -Linda
