I might also note that the US Post Office in it's latest 
proposal on increasing postage costs is not only looking for an
extra penny for first class, but is wanting to approximately
DOUBLE the postage charged to non-profits for newsletters, etc.

Am I missing something here - A) You have a business where you
want to raise your market share, so B) you INCREASE your prices
and drive your customers into the arms of the competition (duh).

Thus electronic delivery is looking better all the time.

Depending on how much compromise you are willing to accept on
image quality, there are some semi intelligent programs that will
analyze image content and can produce quite acceptable results in
very small file sizes (ie, Adobe's "Image Ready").
