OK, no one is perfect. :-)

Someone else promised to send you slides... Has he followed up
with his promise?  I think the same person said he will be
contacting you about a book he is working on, on Stereo
Projection.  Has that happened?

Perhaps it is your turn to remind people of their promises?  The
one who is in more need of the stuff is the one who should be
asking for them.  There is nothing wrong with asking what was
promised.  We (as in "we in general") are busy people so
reminders help.
