   Never having seen Bwana Devil, I don't know if there was a scene as
you describe, though I could easily imagine there would be.
   FWIW, in "Dial M for Murder", everything that happens in the
apartment (or is it a row house?) is in 3-D, but, when anyone is seen
walking into the apartment from outside, the whole outside world, in
motion, is perfectly flat!
