This exotic unit looks like a copy of the Leitz Stemar. I assume it's
for the Nikon rangefinder cameras, not the F.

Not having one, though, doesn't mean you can't take stereos with the
Nikon. I've used my Nikon F on a Jasper slide bar to shoot interiors,
some of which can be seen on View*Productions' View-Master® packet
"Fallingwater: Wright and the 3rd Dimension."
