If you are going to pick lens in current production from the major
lens manufacturers (Canon, Fuji, Nikon (Nikkor), Olympus (Zuiko),
Pentax (Takumar), Rodenstock, Schneider, Zeiss) don't bother getting
hung up on the claims of one vs. the others. All of the current
manufacturers make excellent lenses which produce images you would
have a hard time distinguishing between. Pick the cameras for the
body features you want, not the lens manufacturer.
I don't use electronic cameras, so I can't recommend which of current
cameras you should choose. Given my good experience with the K-1000
and ME Super, I would probably lean towards one of the current Pentax
bodies, possibly the (relatively) new manual focus one.
