In digest 3699 (I often run behind like this), David Clark writes, in part:
<<
I am interested in making my own matboard cheapie viewers [snip]
I have an Edmunds optical catalog, but don't
know what to order and they seem expensive.
>>
In a truly remarkable coincidence of timing, I spent a while today looking at
the Edmunds catalog, too, only I want to replace the (old scratched single
element) lenses in a slide viewer with something sharper, and perhaps with a
better field of view for wider-than-realist formats. What should I be
looking for?
I know many of you have done this, so don't be shy....
Steve, what are you putting into your high zoot viewers these days? Are you
fitting the same optics into both your modified Life Like's as well as the
Brumberger?
Your advice & assistence is greatly appreciated.
Mike
