P3D Stereo Dinner Next Friday in Manhattan

This is getting to be FUN!

A nice crowd of fun, interesting people have started to frequent the 
Stereo Dinner.  What started out as a happy accident in Richmond in 
1998 has become a pleasant monthly gathering of stereo enthusiasts. 
Why don't you come next Friday?

A couple special things this time.  First, a commercial stereoscopic 
project has popped up that I'm just dying to leak to someone.  I'm 
not quite ready to post  details publicly, but after one Corona I'll 
sing like a canary.  I think this new venue could have a wide-ranging 
impact for many stereo photographers.

And to celebrate Spring here in Manhattan, Pat and I would like to 
invite everyone back to our apartment after dinner.  It's a first. 
Cameras, gadgets and projects galore.  If you're ever wondered if I 
really have a tablesaw in the bathroom, you'll see next Friday.

And best of all, we'll be looking at the photos and slides that 
people bring with them.  I love seeing what other people are doing. 
Bring along some photos or slides and a viewer and join the fun!

We always meet on the third Friday of every month at La Cocina, at 
85th and Broadway.  The food is really excellent, and I'm not usually 
a big fan of Mexican food.  It's nicely decorated upstairs and down, 
and the food is not at all expensive. There are several good, big 
meals on the menu for under ten bucks.  We often get a section to 
ourselves, so we have some room to spread out.  The hostess will 
cheerfully point us out; we are the table having all the fun.

Join us next Friday, February 18, at La Cocina, 217 West 85th Street, 
just off Broadway in Manhattan.
