<Anyone have any opinions on the Reel 3D slip-in cardboard mounts (or any
other slip-in mounts)? I had a couple around, so I tried them out for
replacing a couple of mounts that Kodak had badly botched. I was very
impressed with how easy they are to use, and the look, at least in my
Kodaslide II, as good as any other mounts I have. (Well, the edges are a
little ragged, but not very noticeably.)>

I've used them a few years and I think they're fine - particularly if
you're using a viewer (my only real gripe is getting several in a batch
where the slide just won't slide in properly; guessing it's excess
adhesive)

If you're projecting slides they're okay, but I'd recommend something a bit
higher grade - I'm using the RBT plastic mounts since you can easily adjust
the horizontal alignment, the edges are ultra-neat, and you can re-use them
(as you can the Reel-3D mounts). I've also got a quantity of single
cardboard slide mounts in Realist format (Reel-3D used to carry these)
which I use to send out slide pairs to get scanned onto a cd. These are
also reusable, and I find myself remounting slides from one format to
another quite a lot.
