P3D Slip-Ins

In a message dated 2/13/00 4:12:59 PM, Peter Davis writes:

<< Anyone have any opinions on the Reel 3D slip-in cardboard mounts (or any
other slip-in mounts)? I had a couple around, so I tried them out for
replacing a couple of mounts that Kodak had badly botched. I was very
impressed with how easy they are to use, and the look, at least in my
Kodaslide II, as good as any other mounts I have. (Well, the edges are a
little ragged, but not very noticeably.)

I use 'em all the time so I can get an idea what I've taken, and frankly, I
leave most of my shots in the slip-ins. But slip-ins are lousy for setting
the stereo window on anything that's not perfect, and for the ones that are
too far out of whack, I use RBTs; can't beat 'em. Frankly, I'd mount
everything in RBT if I could afford it.
