Not exactly.

It's very possible that slip in or machine mounted images have a perfectly
(or very well) set window. However, if- for example- the closest object is
much farther than 7 feet, it's desirable (in my opinion) to move the scene
to the window for a more comfortable, complete view.

Also, any card mount is dangerous to project- even if the window is correct-
because the cardboard can bend and or twist, resulting in mismatched or
poorly focussed projection.

Rather than slip-in mounts, I often use plastic, cheap 2x2 mounts for
"quick" mounting of 5,7 or any size stereo pair... no window at all~
