Amen to you to brother PSMP.

My method is just slightly different (maybe a little less cumbersome)
than Steve Spicer's, but then he did invent the Spicer mount (a
name he doesn't exactly condone - we gave the mounts that).
Then Ronald Beck writes:

And I have to emphasize again that you can precision mount a roll
of film in just under an hour. If all you are after is adequate you can
do that in 15-20 minutes. I don't think you could be any faster with
slip-ins, and if you are talking about heat seals - forget it. It takes
two to three times as long to mount.
Listen to converts like Greg Tank, myself, and many, many others: it
is fast, cheap, and easy to precision mount in Spicer mounts using
the RBT jig method.
Once again let me invite all non belivers to come witness the
miracle as performed by the great mounting master Dr. Dave at the
2000 NSA Convention. If that is not an option just send me a plane
ticket and I will come and stay with you until you are as proficient as
I am. Do I hear another AMEN?
That's all for now,
