Since your getting differences between the two images even at 1000/sec, it 
suggests to me that some damping at the mounts might be helpful. I wouldn't 
think that simple flexure would cause discrepancies at such a high shutter 
speed. Perhaps if you were to mount the cameras to the wings using 
something like surgical tubing, or rubber bands to hold them against a 
compressable backing... the mass of the cameras might be enough to keep 
them from vibrating. If not, you might adding some mass to the cameras. You 
might want to look up the old Tyler aerial mount for some ideas.
