I just bought 4 copies of the Sports Illustrated 3-D Swimsuit issue. The
full color anaglyphs are some of the best color anaglyphs I have ever seen!
In addition to the 13 full color anaglyphs of swimsuit models, there are 6
full color 3-D ads. Then there is a 4 page history of 3-D which includes 10
more 3-D pictures, both black and white and color, including an unbelievable
basketball shot by Dave Klutho and vintage photos from the collection of Ron
Labbe, technical consultant for this issue. I would love to see a 3-D sports
issue with the mind blowing 3-D photos of Dave Klutho, which some of you were
lucky enough to see in at the Richmond NSA convention or a few months ago
when David came to the New York Stereoscopoic Society meeting. Any one of
the swimsuit pictures would alone sell for more than the $6 cover price of
the magazine. If you haven't yet purchased your copy, which hit the stands
today, rush out and get at least one copy before they are gone. Let's see
more of this quality 3-D work so the general public can see how great 3-D
really is. Too often much publicized 3-D TV shows or other 3-D for the
general public is of poor quality. Congradulations to Dave Klutho and Sports
Illustrated.
