<< Bruce and other Vivid owners, how do you deal with
the Vivid frame overlap problem? Or is ther more
than one "edition" of the Vivid, some of which lack
 the overlap characteristic?

My Vivid does not have the frame overlap problem, but it does have one lens
slightly out of focus. This is very minute and only noticable upon
examination of small lettering in the picture, but I hear it is a problem
which others have encountered. I have gone through 3 Vivids, and none had
the overlap problem, but 2 had the out of focus problem. The Vivid is the
camera that draws the most attention from the general public (as opposed to
the Realist, Kodak, Colorist, etc.) but I rarely use it due to, in my
opinion, it not being as sharp, overall, as the Realist.
