Look guys, we don't live in a perfect world. I've been the projectionist for
the San Diego Stereo Camera Club for over 12 years. There's a huge range in
mounting skill out there and I want everyone to get better at it. However,
one way or another, some poorly mounted slides do get thrown up on the
screen. I just can't sit there and let the audience view a slide with
vertical misalignment for 10-15 seconds or more. I will always adjust the
vertical, even before the focus if possible.
