P3D One Mount

The "one mount / one method" idea may be practical for a single
photographer's projection program. During OSPS competitions, only
focusing adjustments are made. Distractions are minimal. Most
distractions are caused by mounting errors, or disparities within the
image.
How would you go about standardizing mounts for competitions or programs
where various people participate. And why should their entries be duped
to conform to a mount? Nobody would agree on a specific mount to use.
If I have a "winner" mounted in a spicer reduced height, and a "winner"
mounted in an RBT 5p. or 7p......how and why would I agree to use one
mount? I would have to select images that catered to the mount, and not
visa versa.
